Last week, our team met with our office neighbors, the Sensar team! As we both provide monitoring services based on satellite data, there was plenty of knowledge and information to exchange. While we use satellite data to detect activities at the Earth’s surface, Sensar focuses on movements of the Earth’s surface and can detect ground movement with millimeter-level precision.
Information about ground movement is also highly relevant for pipeline operators, as it can lead to increased stress on pipelines, pipeline exposure, or reduced depth of cover.
It was great to catch up with our neighbors both on the technology side during the technical sessions and on the social side over drinks.
