We are proud to share that we have expanded our pipeline monitoring services to Asia. We have started monitoring in Thailand and now cover more than 2,500 kilometers of PTT Public Company Limited‘s pipeline network with COSMIC-EYE. Using satellite monitoring, COSMIC-EYE helps detect potentially hazardous activity close to the pipeline, supporting safer operations and stronger risk management.
PTT Public Company Limited is Thailand’s national oil and gas company, engaged in supplying, transporting, and distributing oil and gas. By integrating COSMIC-EYE into its infrastructure monitoring processes, PTT strengthens pipeline safety while taking a forward-looking approach to more sustainable monitoring.
Monitoring a network of this size is an important milestone for Orbital Eye. We started with small pilots monitoring a few hundred kilometers and have grown to supporting national gas transportation networks. This step reflects a lot of team effort and dedication, and we are proud of what we have built together.
Our partnerships with Geoserve BV and SkyWatch also play an important role. For this project, they support the continuous acquisition and delivery of high-resolution optical satellite data from Planet, Airbus, and SuperView satellites.
We look forward to continuing our collaboration with PTT and contributing to pipeline safety in another region of the world.
